Online Counselling

Online Counselling

I can offer online counselling to anyone living in the UK (or temporarily overseas with a permanent UK address). Online therapy sessions provide the same high-quality, person-centred counselling support as face-to-face sessions, but with the added convenience of being accessible from the comfort of your own home. This offers flexibility and accessibility, making it easier to fit therapy into your busy schedule wherever you have a stable internet connection.

Benefits of Online Counselling

  • Convenience: Access therapy from the comfort of your own home or any private space. No need to travel, saving you time and reducing stress.
  • Flexibility: Schedule sessions at times that suit you best, including evenings and weekends.
  • Comfort and Privacy: Being in your own environment can make it easier to open up and feel comfortable during sessions.
  • Accessibility: Ideal for those who may have mobility issues, live in remote areas, or have other barriers to attending in-person sessions.

Supported Platforms

My preferred platform for online counselling is the free software Microsoft Teams, however I can also arrange sessions via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WhatsApp Video, or Google Meet.

Areas of Focus

As a person-centred counsellor, I work with you as an individual on anything you feel like bringing each week. I am particularly experienced in working with the below areas:

  • Anxiety and Panic Attacks: learn coping strategies to manage anxiety and reduce the impact of panic attacks with counselling.
  • Low Mood and Depression: Explore the underlying causes of your low mood and work towards creating a more balanced and fulfilling life.
  • Low Self-Esteem: Help to rebuild your confidence and self-worth through supportive and empathetic counselling.
  • Grief and Loss: A safe space to process your emotions and find a path to healing after the loss of a loved one or a significant change in your circumstances.

Person-centred counselling

Person-centred counselling focuses on your own unique circumstances. This means that your needs and experiences are the primary focus of all our sessions. This empathetic, non-directive method empowers you to lead the way in your healing journey, helping you find your own solutions and develop a stronger sense of self.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or to book your first consultation session. I look forward to supporting you on your path to healing and growth!
